George M. Knapek is a Program Director for Representative Farms in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University.
George M. Knapek is Extension Economist - Risk Management, with the Texas Cooperative Extension based in College Station. His extension education activities focus on risk management for crop and livestock producers.
Prior to joining the Extension Service, Knapek worked as a credit analyst at First Texas Bank in Georgetown, TX. He was born and raised on a farm in Williamson County and received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas A&M University, both in Agricultural Economics.
